Do you know an SWG hero who deserves recognition for their exceptional volunteerism? Consider nominating an individual who supports our writing community through their tireless service and dedication, or consider nominating yourself for all of your hard work. It could be a previous SWG board member, a SWG member who volunteers for other local, provincial or national literary organizations or someone who consistently helps out at literary events. Let’s recognize those outstanding members who bind us together!

We are accepting nominations for the 2022 Hyland Volunteer Award until Thursday, Sept 15, 2022, at midnight. Please fill out the nomination form, outlining volunteer contributions to the writing community at a local, provincial, or national level. New this year – we are accepting nominations for other people AND self-nominations. More information about the criteria, the nomination form, and previous winners are found here.

The winner will be celebrated heartily at the Annual Conference on Saturday, October 22, 2022, during the SWG AGM.
