Talking Fresh 2022: Weathering Heights: Creativity and Climate Change

The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is excited to present Talking Fresh 2022: Weathering Heights: Creativity and Climate Change. Our festival theme explores how Canadian writers of various genres are creatively grappling with our changing environment. How do we explore this topic creatively? What’s our role as writers – and humans – during this time of change?

This year’s festival will be held virtually March 2-4, 2022 and in-person in Regina on March 5, 2022, at The Artesian (2627 13th Avenue). All events are open to the public and free of charge, with the exception of our ticketed Local Food Evening at YQR Local Market (1377 Hamilton Street).

Our program will include online events with writers in different genres, interactive in-person writing workshops in fiction and non-fiction, and a celebration of local food featuring a three-course farm-to-table meal and a conversation with well-known Canadian food writers.

More details will be released in January 2022; please watch the SWG’s media for more information.
