From Manuscript to Marketplace: Funding Opportunities for Saskatchewan Book Publishers
Part of the Publishing Symposium series.
Interested in growing your book publishing work at a commercial level? Join Creative Saskatchewan for a free, one-hour online session designed for members of SaskBooks and the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild who want to better understand the funding opportunities available to the book publishing sector.
Presented by Brittney MacFarlane, Program and Industry Association Manager, this Zoom session will provide a clear, practical overview of Creative Saskatchewan’s book-related grants available this fiscal year, including the Book Publishing Production Grant, Marketing Grant, Business Development Grant, and Showcase or Sell Travel Grant. Attendees will learn who is eligible, what expenses are covered, key deadlines to keep in mind, and proven application tips to help strengthen submissions and maximize the likelihood of success.
The presentation will conclude with a moderated Q&A, offering participants the opportunity to ask grant-related questions and gain insight directly from a program expert.
Whether you’re an established publisher or exploring the next stage of your publishing journey, this session offers valuable guidance, resources, and direct access to expertise.
