Ebriefs is the SWG's weekly member email bulletin. This electronic news bulletin helps to build a sense of community by including useful information about SWG events and announcements, member news, competitions, professional development and other useful information.
Members may contribute information by following the guidelines below.
Archived issues of Ebriefs are available to SWG members in the Member Area.
Submission guidelines
Ebriefs is distributed weekly by email to members of the SWG. To subscribe, unsubscribe, or post a notice, send an email to swgmedia@skwriter.com. Content must be provided to the Publication Coordinator by noon, each Wednesday in order to make it into the weekly Thursday distribution.
If you have an event or new book that you would like to include in ebriefs, please follow this format:
Name of Event/Reading/Book Launch announcement
- 75 – 100 words describing the event
- When: Date & time
- Where: Location & city
- Add a URL if available
- Virtual link to register (if required)
- Do not submit your item or title in ALL CAPS
New book announcement
- Title
- Author
- 100 words about the book
- ISBN and publisher
- JPG cover of the book
