Presenter
Jessica Genereaux is a Cree/Nakota/Scottish mother and librarian from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Treaty 6 territory. Jessica grew up listening to stories from her grandparents, Bill and Vicky Wilson, a Scottish immigrant and a residential school survivor and fierce advocate for indigenous rights, both of whom inspired her lifelong pursuit of learning and advocacy. The impact of intergenerational trauma has motivated Jessica to pursue intergenerational healing today as a mother and professional through cultural revitalization.
