It's the story of a Canadian scholar at Oxford who discovers a lost Trojan War tradition featuring Psoas of Midea, the eponymous son of nobody. His story is told in parallel with that of the scholar, Harlow Donne. At the top of the pages appear fragments from the lost tradition, while at the bottom, at the end of each fragment, are wide-ranging footnotes. So, a novel in verse fragments and footnotes!
