Working the Line is a hands-on session exploring a fundamental part of a poem – the line and the stanzas they create. Participants will explore and discuss the possibilities for lines, caesuras, how enjambment and end-stops impact a line and a poem.

Workshop Facilitator
Bernadette Wagner is a published poet, essayist, and letter-writer who enjoys gardens, preserving, and cooking. She finds courage and wisdom in the voices of the past and present and works to support and encourage the voices of the present and the future in their written endeavours. Recognized for her work as a writer and community organizer, she is grateful to be able to share what she’s learned with others. She makes her home in Oskana kâ-asastêki (Regina, SK) and has lived her life on the unceded lands of Treaty 4 Territory.
