Brennan Lane

Brennan Lane is a Canadian author who published his debut novel, Fragments of Truth, in November 2024. Blind since birth, Brennan has long found inspiration in the immersive world of audiobooks, developing a deep love for detective crime mysteries, science fiction, and horror. These genres, combined with years of listening to gripping storytelling, eventually sparked his passion for writing. By day, Brennan works as a dedicated mental health therapist. Writing began as a creative side project, allowing him to explore narratives that reflect both his love of suspense and his advocacy for people with disabilities. He draws influence from authors like Heather O’Neill, Greg Iles, and Stephen King, whose work continues to shape his voice as a storyteller. Brennan is currently working on his second novel, The Repurposer, which he hopes to release by the end of 2025. He remains committed to connecting with other writers from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, championing stories that deserve to be heard.
