Steve Wolfson is a Regina based author and filmmaker.
His children’s picture books include, “Monster Cheeseâ€, “Elephants At The Airport,†and “Filbert the Lonely Flamingoâ€, winner of Saskatchewan Writers Guild Best Children’s Manuscript . Steve’s poetry for children has been published in the Prairie Jungle anthology.
Steve has toured extensively in Saskatchewan and beyond. He is available for readings of his writing for children and workshops in schools and libraries on writing for children as well as various aspect of filmmaking.

It won the Alcuin Citation for the best design in a Canadian children’s book. “Monster Cheeseâ€, mythical, magical and a lot of fun (Regina Leader Post) was republished by Argami Productions in Florida. As a filmmaker, Steve has written, directed and produced many documentaries and other films. His television series, “Edifice & Usâ€, includes 26 episodes that highlight Saskatchewan’s most interesting buildings.
