Retired wildlife veterinarian Dr. Jerry Haigh will be sharing his experiences as a wildlife veterinarian in Africa. It will also include readings from his books, The Trouble with Lions and Wrestling with Rhinos.

Dr. Jerry Haigh is a 1965 Glasgow Veterinary School graduate. He then returned to his birth country, Kenya, where he worked with rhinos, elephants, and several other wild species. He worked in six other African countries as well. He emigrated to Canada with his family in 1975 to join Saskatoon's faculty of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine as a wildlife veterinarian.
