BUILD. COMMIT. PROTECT. CONNECT.
We know how hard it can be to make time to write, so we wanted to provide a small solution for our membership with Penned Up! Our objectives for this program are to provide a two-hour period and space for folks to drop in and write. We also want these Penned Up! sessions to be opportunities for members to build community, gather together in a shared space, meet writing goals, commit to writing, and to protect creative time by coming to write. These sessions are all virtual held on a monthly schedule between September and May, with a virtual celebration in June.
You can come and go as you need to. No pressure.
How Penned Up! works: registration via Zoom will be set up, then we will email the link and folks can drop in and out as they’d like during the two-hour period. After the first 45 minutes of undisturbed writing time, the SWG will offer participants the option to go into a breakout room to have a break and talk to other participants. This break is not mandatory! If you’re in a groove, keep going! You’re also welcome to take breaks as you need them at any point during the two hours.
Format
SWG will set up the Zoom room and registration will be available up until and during the event so folks can drop in as they please.
