Belinda Betker's poetry book 'Phases' was a finalist for two Saskatchewan Book Awards in 2020. 'Phases' tells the journey of a tomboy's life from childhood through to coming out in mid-life and performing as a drag king. Belinda's poetry is also published in various anthologies, literary journals and chapbooks; and she has won awards for her haiku. She is  a founding and active member of two Saskatoon writing groups, Sisters' Ink, and The Obsessors, and was a founding and long-time Board Member of the Saskatoon Writers' Collective. . Belinda lives in Saskatoon with her wife and their rescue dog, a springer spaniel/terrier cross.
