Craig Silliphant is an award-winning writer and Creative Director, working in both mainstream and underground media. He is a writer, essayist, film and music critic, broadcaster, journalist, advertising and marketing strategist, musician, and filmmaker.
His work appears in outlets like CBC, Post Media, CTV, Rawlco Radio, Global TV, CFCR, Planet S Magazine, Prairie Dog Magazine, The National Post, The Edmonton Journal, The Feedback Society, Shaw Spotlight, and many more. He is a juror on the Polaris Music Prize and the Juno Awards. He wrote and co-produced an award-winning Global TV documentary called, ‘Stolen Sisters,’ about the plight of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
Craig's non-fiction book, ‘Exile Off Main St: Random Dispatches from the Saskatoon Music Scene,’ and his collection of fiction short stories, 'Nothing You Do Matters,' were both local best sellers. He lives in Saskatoon with his wife, son, and daughter.
