Jason Rodych is a lifelong storyteller and closet poet with a deep passion for words and the power of connection. After earning a degree in Education with a major in Industrial Arts, he began his career in teaching trades-based skills before finding a calling in Alternative Education. Since 2017, Jason has been leading a one-room classroom in a youth co-operative program, where he has developed a passion for Educational Foundations and a strong belief in the importance of listening and truly hearing what is being said.

Jason lives with his wife, Courtney, and their three children; Dominic, Daiya, and Odin, near Blackstrap Lake, where they enjoy the beauty of nature and the rhythm of life by the water, and ice. His journey into children's literature was inspired by the simple, profound magic of how  sharing stories can bring people together, and how they hold history.
