Your Authentic Poetic Voice with Lucia De Luca

"Your Authentic Poetic Voice" is a beginner-friendly workshop for writers who dare to be the undeniable speakers of their poems. In the first part, we will engage with memory-based writing prompts that urge us to tell narratives only our voices can tell. In the second half, we will participate in exercises that encourage us to evolve our “performance voice” by leaning into our natural storytelling qualities. Bring a poem of your choosing, and we’ll explore strategies you can use to build a performance that is authentic to you and your work.

Participants should come to the session with a finished(ish) poem.
