Jillian is a writer and freelance editor living in the Qu'Appelle Valley in southern Saskatchewan. She works for SaskBooks on behalf of Saskatchewan book publishers. Jillian is a blogger and social media content creator. Jillian's writing has been published by the CBC, in "A Gift of the Prairie" (2014), in Prairie Dog, Planet S, and Amazing Stories Magazines, in print newspapers, and her blog content has been syndicated nationally and internationally. Jillian writes fiction, poetry, sci-fi/fantasy, horror, creative non-fiction, and silly rhymes. She is actively involved in the roleplaying games and live action games community. For eleven years, Jillian hosted "The Bookchick" programme on Regina Community Radio, wherein she reviewed books, interviewed writers and other bibliophiles, and read classic books on air. She is currently shopping a novel and a poetry manuscript. As if that isn't enough, she's a knitter, a fledgeling quilter, a cookist, a swimmer, and a musician.
Jillian is a dynamic public speaker :  her recent presentations range from Pride/GSA workshops and topics to publishing workshops and seminars to storytelling and improv drama workshops and presentations. She has worked as an editor on poetry, fiction (novels, novellas, flash fiction); non-fiction; gaming books and modules; and scholarly material. Jillian has published a number of gaming-related materials.
