Keith M. Leonard was born in Newfoundland and Labrador and now lives in Saskatchewan, Canada with his wife, their three adult children, and three cats.

Keith began writing speculative fiction in 2022 and has published over 100 stories online. In January 2025, he published a collection of dark micro fiction entitled Short Not Sweet. His newest release, published in May 2026, is a reimagined werewolf tale entitled The Wolves. This dark thriller is about family, sacrifice, and what it means to survive when the whole world wants you dead.

Not limited to dark prose, in 2025 Keith turned his imagination toward lighter shores. To keep his storytelling voices distinct, Keith shares his children’s tales under the pen name Noah D. Carver. The Secret of Sparkles’ Cove, crafted for his step‑granddaughter, is a princess and mermaid adventure filled with fun, friendship, and a touch of magic. The second book in the Tales of Tidehaven series was released in February, 2026 entitled Pip and the Crab Crown.
