Kennedy Tessier is a Saskatchewan author, photographer, entrepreneur, storyteller, and mom of four from Arcola. Her writing explores family, motherhood, grief, memory, legacy, rural Saskatchewan life, and the ordinary moments that shape who we become.
Her book, Built With Purpose: Finding Legacy in the Ordinary Moments, reflects on childhood campfires and gravel roads, marriage and raising a family, entrepreneurship, photography, and the loss of her father to cancer. Through personal stories, Kennedy explores how grief can be transformed into compassion, creativity, and purpose, and how some of life’s most meaningful legacies are created in seemingly ordinary moments.
Kennedy is also the founder of the Glen Adnam Cancer Comfort Basket Foundation, created in memory of her father, and continues to write projects centred around grief, family, motherhood, memory, and the stories we leave behind.
As a mother of four, much of Kennedy’s perspective is shaped by the desire to preserve family stories, create meaningful traditions, and leave something behind for the next generation.
She is available for author readings, book discussions, community events, interviews, and conversations about writing, grief, legacy, motherhood, entrepreneurship, and turning personal experiences into meaningful work.
