Hello, I recently retired from a 25 year career with government where I worked as a front-line social worker with youth and abused women before administering health benefits to WWII veterans and then conducting site visits to intellectually disabled adults who required long-term care. In my closing five years, I administered a funding program for economic development, support for those developing new businesses.

Throughout my adult life, I've written short stories and poems, and co-wrote a screenplay for which I had representation. My current project is a coming-of-age novel. I've completed the third draft and begun querying agents.

I've participated in several writing workshops, including Michael Hague's Six Stage Plot Structure and Novel Revision through UBC's Creative Writing Program. I have experience pitching and querying agents, producers, and publishing companies.
