Marilyn Frey is proud to say that she has lived in Saskatchewan all her life, in places such as Middle Lake, Cudworth, Meadow Lake, Rosthern, and most recently, Saskatoon. She is a true prairie girl who loves Saskatchewan's 'living skies.'

After retiring from leadership roles in the financial services industry, Marilyn eagerly pursued her true passion--writing. She had wanted to be a writer since she was twelve years old, and now, finally, in retirement, she could realize that dream. When Marilyn isn't writing, she's reading.

Marilyn's debut memoir, Reflections in a Farmhouse Window: A Prairie Memoir, is a recent addition to the literary world, offering a unique perspective on prairie life. Marilyn believes the complexities of life are the basis for great stories, ones to be told and shared. Marilyn and her husband reside in Saskatoon, close to their family.
