Miguel Fenrich (he/him) is a Sudanese-Canadian author, journalist, and multidisciplinary storyteller living on Treaty 6 Territory west of Saskatoon. His professional writing experience includes being a provincially and nationally recognized journalist and editor, the former Owner & Publisher of Supernova Press in Battleford, and the author of Blue: A Novel and What Lies in the Valley. In 2023, he was honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal and In 2024 he was recognized as an Emerging Artist by SKArts at their inaugural Arts of Celebration event.
Fenrich currently works as a Communications Coordinator at the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan. He tackles thought-provoking themes in his fiction, such as white supremacy, class consciousness, feminism, and the LGBTQ2S+ community. Recently, he's been exploring the world of poetry to address society's challenges.
