Rachael Friesen

Rachael Friesen is a Canadian maker, artist, and business owner who loves being silly, having fun, and making people laugh!

Drawing on inspiration from life, love and nature, she enjoys creating things and never seems to run out of fun ideas that bring her art and her vision, to life!

The Sad Potato, Rachael's first book, but not her first published work, originated as a poem she had written for a friend, whom she referred to as a Sad Potato. Turns out the poem did just the trick - and Rachael was encouraged to turn her little poem into a book.

In under 90 days, The Sad Potato became a Top 10% Lifetime best-seller, and has been popular amongst all ages!
