I'm an eclectic artist and writer - I received my BFA (studying visual art and drama) and then MA from the University of Saskatchewan and took my family to Ontario where I worked as a Professor of Theatre Arts, teaching acting, voice, movement, directing. I worked with several musicians and performed my poetry many times in several venues, including at music festivals. At that time I also published poetry in various journals and books, but my focus was definitely on performing. In 2014 my first book of poetry, I Want a Poem, was published by Vocamus Press in Guelph, followed by a chapbook called Stick in 2018. We returned to Saskatoon in 2022, where I've been facilitating poetry workshops in the King George area. My history is long and complex so I'll keep it simple here: I am available to give poetry workshops, vocal workshops (for poets and writers who need assistance reading their work publicly), and my laptops are brimming over with unpublished works!
