The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is pleased to announce that Karen Wood is the recipient of the 2023 Anne Campbell Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship provides an emerging Saskatchewan writer working on poetry or short stories with $500 to attend the 2023 Guild’s Summer Retreat. With roots in New Brunswick and Saskatchewan, Saskatoon-based writer Karen Wood recently completed her Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently working on Inheritance, a linked short story collection of eight fictional narratives of lives impacted by interpersonal violence and abuse.
