Windscript Magazine turns 40 this year. Since 1983, we have published the best in high school writing and we are launching Windscript Volume 40 this year. To coincide with this launch, we are hoping to raise awareness of Windscript and the impact it makes on a young writer's life. Every donation we receive through this campaign will provide much-needed funds to help offset the costs associated with a publication of this calibre. Please give what you can and know that you have made a difference.
The SWG supports writers at all levels of their development. For youth in Saskatchewan, the SWG publishes Windscript - the magazine of high school writing. We pay a managing and associate editor fee and an honorarium to the contributors. In addition, the SWG pays for the printing and shipping costs for copies of Windscript to be sent to schools across Saskatchewan. Teachers use Windscript in the classroom when teaching creative writing, and students reference past issues to provide inspiration.
