Effective October 1, the SWG is implementing the following COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and members.
Visiting the SWG Office
Members, the general public and delivery personnel are able to come to our office to conduct business (i.e. pay for memberships, drop off materials). All visitors must wear masks. Double-vaccinations are not required UNLESS you anticipate being in the office longer than 10 minutes or you are attending an in-person meeting. If so, we ask that you show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test (within 72 hours) to SWG staff.
Attending in-person SWG events
All attendees must abide by the following protocols at our in-person events:
- Please RSVP or register – all events will be offered at a reduced capacity
- Wear a mask
- Social distancing required
- Show proof of double vaccination or negative COVID test results (within 72 hours) upon entry – this will be checked visually by staff at the door. No private information will be recorded or stored.
We will follow provincial guidelines for acceptable proof of vaccination.
We continue to host a number of online events to ensure our programming is accessible to the community.
