The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is pleased to welcome Taidgh Lynch and Elena Bentley as our editing team for Windscript Volume 37, the SWG magazine for high-school writing. Taidgh will work in his role as Managing + Poetry editor and Elena will support the magazine as the Associate Prose editor. Both Taidgh and Elena bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and talent as they work to encourage and nurture young writers in Saskatchewan. Youth have until January 15, 2021 to submit their writing for a chance to work with our esteemed editors.
Managing + Poetry Editor
Taidgh Lynch is a poet from the South West of Ireland who recently completed an MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan. His poetry has appeared in Prairie Fire, FreeFall, ROPES, The Poetry Bus, Boyne Berries and others. His poetry chapbook, First Lift Here, was published with Jack Pine Press in September 2019. He lives in Saskatoon with his partner and their new baby.
Associate Prose Editor
Elena Bentley is a disabled poet, writer, editor, and occasional book reviewer from Saskatchewan. She holds an MA in English from the University of Toronto, and a BA (Hons) in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Regina.
