Weaving Words

The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and Global Gathering Place are pleased to present Weaving Words. This in-person workshop series is an opportunity for newcomers to Canada living in Saskatoon to share their stories and experiences through the art of creative writing. This workshop is for any newcomer with a story to tell. Professional storyteller, Danica Lorer, will facilitate these sessions.

Newcomer writers of all abilities are welcome. Basic English language skills are necessary.

The workshop will take place on TUESDAY and THURSDAY, March 5, 7, 12, and 14.

Registration is required through the Global Gathering Place. To register, please contact Kris Pabisiak at kris.pabisiak@globalgatheringplace.com or call 306-665-0268.

These sessions will not be recorded.

Saskatchewan’s Danica Lorer has been struck by lightning, a moose, a rogue semi-tire, vehicles, and the odd strange idea. She is a storyteller, freelance writer, face and body painter, poet, and the host of Saskatoon's literary arts program 'Lit Happens'. She has had short stories and poems published in various literary magazines and anthologies. Her projects have been supported by SK Arts and the Canada Council for the Arts.
