I grew up in an Argentine-Canadian family in Mississauga, Ontario, but moved west to work, study and fall in love. I work as an environmental scientist, currently living on Treaty 4 Territory in Regina, Saskatchewan. I have published creative writing since 2011 under the pseudonym Jack Caseros, in honour of the Argentine city where my mother grew up. My short fiction, poetry, and non-fiction has appeared in Flash Fiction Magazine, Acentos Review, and Syntax & Salt Magazine, among other great venues. My flash fiction was awarded as a runner-up in the 2018 True North Writing Contest. From 2017 – 2019, I was an Associate Fiction Editor for the online literary magazine, Pithead Chapel. In 2019, I completed Stanford University's Online Writing Course for Novel Writing. When I am not writing or dealing with environmental messes, I am usually a very tired horsey for my three children.
