The author of more than two dozen books and dozens of magazine articles, she has worked her way through an encyclopedic range of subjects, in writings for children, young adults and adult readers. Candace Savage was born in the Peace River country and holds an Honours B. A. in English from the University of Alberta. A resident of Saskachewan for more than half her adult life, she now shares her time between Saskatoon and Eastend, SK.
