Candis Kirkpatrick-Miller is a Saskatchewan playwright and novelist; born and raised in Mossbank, raised her children in Moose Jaw, and now lives outside of North Battleford. She is a passionate advocate for the dignity of older adults, and her debut novel, Crows & Cheesecake (2024), explores society's stereotyping of its elders. In her spare time, Candis enjoys working in her ever-developing English garden - her happy place - and dabbles in wood carving and painting. She lives with her husband on their acreage and continues to explore concepts for new plays and stories.
