Connie Gault is a fiction writer. She has also written for theatre, radio and film and has published eight books, the most recent being the novel, A Beauty. Awards for her work include the SWG long manuscript award and the Fiction award and the City of Regina award from Saskatchewan Book Awards. In 2007 she was the recipient of the City of Regina Writing Award.Her novel Euphoria was short-listed for the High Plains award and the Commonwealth award for best novel (Canada and the Caribbean) A Beauty was long-listed for the 2015 Giller Prize. Her work has been presented across Canada and internationally. She has edited fiction, taught many creative writing classes, and mentored several emerging writers through the Writers Guild mentorship program.
