David is a writer, teacher, and stay-at-home dad. He writes film scripts and fiction and has also composed poetry, plays, and academic film reviews. He loves to teach story and screenwriting and does it often at the University of Regina. Since 2008, he's been collaborating with his sister-in-law, Angie Counios, crafting screenplays and novels in a variety of genres. They are best known for their internationally award-winning Shepherd & Wolfe mystery series, which is about two teenage boys who chase serial killers and solve murders.
