Glenda Goertzen was born, raised and educated in Saskatchewan, the setting for most of her books (give or take a few galaxies). Her early work in multi-media production evolved into a career in academic and science-themed libraries, home to diverse topics that inspired her creative work. Shortly after launching into her library career, her bestselling novel, The Prairie Dogs, was published. She lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, where she works as a freelance writer, editor, and instructor. Her signature style is a blend of humour and suspense. Her novels are set in environments where her love of hiking, biology and fascinating ecosystems plays a strong role. She loves to connect with her readers at schools and libraries, either in person or virtually.
