I'm a mother of seven, married to a farmer. I taught in both English colleges and Canadian grade schools. I've worked with both federal and provincial governments, and briefly with the UK government. I currently work with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

I wrote my very first book "Ambitious Adventures in Organic Farming" in 2021.  I presented a collection of real-life, funny stories about our successes and calamities during the first year on our new farm, between Lumsden and Regina Beach.  I've sprinkled my accounts with some personal history and anecdotes, and added a final section that catalogues our travel across Canada.

While our certified organic farm still holds the primary demand and focus of our lives, I like to write (always working on the next manuscript!), sew, repair and upcycle old furniture.
