Mike Parker is a speculative fiction writer and author of the recent novel Transparent. He started his first manuscript in ninth grade and, after a few decades of honing his skills, Mike is now the author of four full-length novels.

Mike loves crafting stories full of action, intrigue, and humor. His novels are all set in the real world, with a slight twist courtesy of new tech or a touch of the paranormal–perfect for all those who like to imagine, as Mike does, that maybe there is something a little bit magical hidden just under the surface of their boring day-to-day life!

There is no place Mike would rather be than in a cabin in the woods with his wife, two sons, and a manuscript to work on–in the summer, because he lives in Canada and hates being cold. Beyond writing, Mike’s other interests include football, movies, music, pumpkin carving, and amateur film editing.
