Myrna Guymer combines hre life-long love of the outdoors with her passion for history and geography to bring life to her work. An active sportswoman - her favourite sport is wilderness paddling - she is a writer, researcher, educator, traveller, and is prone to seeking adventures off the beaten path. Always eager to learn about other cultures, life-styles, environments and the people, she is apt to jump impulsively for immersion into these other worlds. Her many experiences within Canada, and Mexico where she and her husband spend most of every winter, fire her desire to write and share with adults and children alike.
