Sally Meadows, MSc, BSc, BEd, is an award-winning author of five children’s books and short fictional stories; a three-time national award nominated singer/songwriter; and a popular speaker at elementary schools and writing conferences. She is also a proofreader, copy editor, and scientific editor. Her recent writing awards include The Janette Oke Award (2020, InScribe), The Barnabas Award (2019, InScribe), and Best General Market Book for Children for her picture book The Underdog Duckling (2019, The Words Awards). The Underdog Duckling was also shortlisted for the Children’s Literature Award (2020, Saskatchewan Book Awards). After a two-year hiatus on the east coast (2020-2022), Sally has returned to her home province of Saskatchewan.
