Join author Marilyn Frey for a reading of her memoir, Reflections in a Farmhouse Window: A Prairie Memoir, at the Tisdale Community Library, followed by a discussion of the book and her writing process. Marilyn's debut memoir offers a unique perspective on life on the prairies. Marilyn's heart-warming memoir draws you into a simpler time in the 60s and 70s, growing up on a farm in central Saskatchewan, where hard work and discipline helped develop a strong work ethic and character. Marilyn believes the complexities of life are the basis for great stories, ones to be told and shared.

Marilyn Frey is proud to say that she has lived in Saskatchewan all her life. She is a true prairie girl who loves Saskatchewan's 'living skies.' After retiring from leadership roles in the financial services industry, Marilyn eagerly pursued her true passion — writing. She had wanted to be a writer since she was twelve years old, and now, finally, in retirement, she could realize her dream. When Marilyn isn't writing, she's reading. Marilyn and her husband reside in Saskatoon, close to their family.
