Austin "The Noble Savage" Ahenakew has a unique style that weaves rhythm into storytelling and announces an urgent truth from the perspective of Indigenous youth. Bringing an unapologetic approach to Indigenous struggles, abuse, PTSD and how skin colour is viewed. He brings sweet words to the stage without sugarcoating any part of the truth.

Heather is a Nakota and Cree woman from the Okanese First Nation located in Treaty 4 Territory. She is a graduate student and works in the philanthropic sector. Her passion for being a storyteller started at an early age with writing. Heather enjoys sharing, creating, and honouring stories of her own experiences around culture, identity and body positivity. An SWGIP alumni, Heather’s upcoming children’s book Auntie’s Rez Surprise is set to be released in 2023.
