Penned Up!: Turbo Boost Your Writing

Rev your writing engine and achieve your goals in no time with these handy tips and tricks from award-winning writer David Gane. Participants will learn strategies to stay on track with their writing project and refill the writing well and boost creativity and motivation to get writing on the page, and more!

 

This event is a drop in, so participants do NOT need to register to attend. Some refreshments, like cookies, will be available for free at the event. All writers, writing in any genre and at any stage of their career, are welcome!

 

Accessibility: This event is FREE to attend, on a major bus route (to the Southland Mall), and the library and the room we’re in is wheelchair accessible. David Gane is a novelist and writing instructor from Saskatchewan, Canada. He's the co-author of the Shepherd and Wolfe novels, the internationally award-winning YA mystery series. When he's not writing, he's a writing coach and instructor of storytelling and screenwriting. He was the writer-in-residence at the Regina Public Library in 2020 and has taught numerous workshops for students of all ages. He has a Master's degree in Film Production and has worked in the film industry for 11 years. He was a beekeeper in his youth with his father, ran a drive-in, and climbed Mount Olympus. You can find him at davidgane.com or couniosandgane.com
