Carol J. Kavanagh

Carol published two poetry chap books a long time ago, but they are still precious: Anciently Prairie and Blessed Blue. Her work has appeafed in several publications, her poetry published most notably in Grain and most recently a story published in The Antigonish Review..

Her long and varied career included teaching high school English, coordinating a religious education program, being a chaplin at a university, doing family and individual counseling and facilitating workshops on Enneagram with her husband in a home based business. She has some nice degrees: Hon. B. A,. B. Ed., and M. Ed. And has taken some excellent writing courses most notably at the U.of S, the Sage Hill Summer Program, the SWG Mentorhsip program, and the Sage Hill Spring Colloquium. She has taken advantage of the Writer-in-Residence program at the Saskatoon Public Library for many years and is a member of a writing group. 

Carol is retired and lives with her husbnd in Saskatoon. They love and enjoy their kids and grandkids.
