Elizabeth Bekolay BSc (she/her) is a nature-based educator, naturalist, writer, and mother. She was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and spent her childhood roaming the forests and rivers nearby. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Elizabeth is self-publishing the first book in a series for children entitled The Magical Tales of two Brothers: The Peatlands. The story mixes true ecological lessons with the adventure of magical beings, abilities, and situations. To be true to the lessons in the books self-publishing has proven necessary to print on100% post-consumer recycled paper. The illustrations are provided by botanical and entomological illustrator, Jennifer Becker.
