Helen Row Toews wears many hats. As well as a humorist for several newspapers across the western prairies, she works in education and carries a license to drive anything on wheels (lipstick and stilettos optional).

Living on the family farm near Marshall, Saskatchewan, Helen shares her love of rural life, anecdotes gleaned from her years working with children, and humorous snippets from European adventures in her Prairie Wool Books. She writes of the humor to be found in everyday life since, she believes, in this tumultuous world, we all need a reason to smile.

Helen writes young adult fantasy. She has written four books entitled Runestaff Chronicles. More in this series to follow.

Most recently she has written a sweet, holiday romance series (Chateau de Belliveau) that takes place in France. The first of this series, One Golden Summer, is available now with two more added by the summer of 2023.
