Linda Biasotto's first book, a collection of literary fiction entitled "Sweet Life," was published in 2014 by Coteau Books.
"Sweet Life" was the first place recipient of the 2013 John V. Hicks Long Manuscript Award.
Two short stories, three short plays and a poem have also won awards.
In 2017, Linda had two pieces of fiction included in the anthology "Wanderlust", published by Thistledown Press.
She has received a Saskatchewan Arts Board Grant for her first novel, on which she is currently revising.
She is the facilitator for the WFYL writing group in Regina (sponsored by Mental Health)
Linda sponsored and judged a writing contest for "Transition Magazine".
She has developed and facilitated a workshop called "Opening the Doors to Better Writing.
Linda has experience in manuscript evaluation and editing, as well as judging book awards.
