Mark Allard-Will

Mark Allard-Will is the British-born Canadian writer known for his work in the comic book medium, having written the sell-out success Canadiana comedy comic, Saskatch-A-Man (2015, self-published), before moving on to most-ages appropriate Action/Adventure graphic novel Årkade (2017, self-published). Mark's work has seen him featured in special guest spots at some of Canada's biggest festivals and comic book conventions, including Edmonton Comics & Entertainment Expo, Ptarmicon (Yellowknife, NT), Regina Comics & Entertainment Expo, Panel One Comic Creator Festival (Calgary), as well as debuting titles at the world-renowned Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) and Vancouver Comic Arts Festival (VanCAF).

Mark's work with Saskatch-A-Man and Årkade saw him propelled in to a career being published internationally via Alberta's Renegade Arts Entertainment, through which he published horror/folklore graphic novel The Burning Black: The Legend of Black Shuck (2019) and the upcoming 2022 release of Siegfried: Dragon Slayer.

Outside of writing for the comic book medium, Mark is a seasoned screenwriter, having won awards on the screenplay festival circuit from the likes of Italy's Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards and the US's Top Shorts.

Mark's work can be followed on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and Mastodon.
